Hermes

Established in 1837 in Paris as a saddlery workshop, hence the characteristic logo with a carriage and horse. Birkin and Kelly — the world's most coveted handbags — the waiting list for a Birkin can last for years, and prices on the secondary market often far exceed retail prices. The Birkin is considered a better investment than gold or stocks. Each Hermès handbag is hand-stitched by a single craftsman (an "artisan"), who can spend up to 18–25 hours working on it.
